Reverse logistics is the term we use to describe taking in materials and moving them
from where they conventionally would be destined, back to the market or end users' hands.
Once the materials arrive at our warehouse, they undergo a
4-step process including inventorying, testing, repairing/refurbishing, and donating or remarketing.
After the process is complete, the items will then be re-used, re-sold or donated.
If they are deemed end-of-life, they will be disposed of in an environmentally
safe way. CEAR’s goal is to prolong electronic equipment life and maximize their use.
Below is a diagram of the process.
