At CEAR, our customer’s sensitive information is not something we take lightly. We completely destroy every end-of-life media device we receive by shredding it. This includes hard-drives which are the most common source of worry. Our warehouse is secure and monitored 24/7 with a video surveillance system so our customers can witness the shredding service via a live web-cam for their added confidence. Our destruction service is a 4-step process including evaluating the material to determine if destruction is required, removing hazardous material, shredding and offsite smelting. When the process is complete, upon request, CEAR will provide a certificate of destruction along with a weight and piece count report. Below is a diagram of the process.
