Computers, electronics and personal electronics are no longer the wave of the future;
they are our present and future. Keeping the environment safe for our children and
generations to come is a priority that each and every human being should hold in the
highest regard. As the need dramatically increases for proper e-waste disposal, the
industry is becoming more competitive annually.
CEAR remains a strong force in the community, not only abiding by all laws and
regulations set forth by the EPA but most importantly by implementing and upholding
every measure of environmental consciousness possible.
Each year the increase in recycling is growing enormously. Statistics from
the CIWMB, California Integrated Waste Management Board, state that in 2005 65 million
pounds of covered electronic waste were recycled. In 2006, the number jumped to over
100 million. This is an outstanding 54% increase. If we just achieve the minimum by
matching last year’s increase, at the end of 2007, over 154 million pounds will be
recycled. We contribute much of this improvement to the public’s increasing awareness
of the benefits of recycling e-waste. Our president, Paul Gao participates as an
advisory member to The CIWMB’s e-Recycle Consumer Education Program. This two-year
statewide program was developed to educate the public on how to properly dispose of
their unwanted electronics in order to reduce the amount of e-waste.
“I believe that educating the public is the only means to an end of e-waste
polluting our environment. This is why I so strongly believe in and am very proud to
be a part of this program.” Paul Gao. President, CEAR
Among our many customers are government entities like
Yolo County and Nevada County and private corporations such as
Allied Disposal. These are just a few of the clients that
continually place their trust in CEAR. We consider our customers trust in our company
the utmost responsibility. This consideration is precisely why CEAR continues steady
growth and maintains outstanding customer service in this growing industry.
