California Electronic Asset Recovery, Inc. (CEAR) is a Northern California based environmentally conscious electronic waste recovery and recycling company. We have been recycling for the general public, corporations, small businesses, schools and government entities since 2000. Our management team has over a decade of experience in the industry. CEAR has an increasing network of partners and clients, as well as established methodologies and documented procedures for shipping, sorting, testing, refurbishing, remarketing and recycling.

Our remarketing capabilities will prolong the life of your computer equipment, maximize the value and ultimately contribute to a cleaner environment. Our recycling solutions will relieve you and your company of the ever-increasing burden of hazardous electronic waste disposal. In addition, our structured reporting capabilities will provide you with the information and control needed for inventory management, accounting and government reporting compliance.

In 2000, CEAR witnessed the growing electronic industry as well as the rapid depreciation curve for electronic assets like computers, monitors, printers and other integral office devices. In response, CEAR implemented a sector specifically for refurbishing and remarketing the electronic devices. Subsequently, CEAR also began providing alternative solutions to conventional disposal methods for government agencies, schools, small businesses and corporations. Processed, reusable systems and components are remarketed to resellers, service companies or back to the original owners. Dismantled metals and plastics from end-of-life units are remarketed to smelting and refining companies for raw materials.

Throughout our entire process, CEAR remains committed to the environment. From receiving items to shredding and compacting, CEAR implements environmentally sound practices above and beyond general compliance. The earth is ours and the goal is to preserve it for generations to come.
